Who i am
About Me (she/her)
Hello!
I'm Nickola. I am passionate about health, wellness, and healing. I am a born nurturer of people, animals and plants.
As a Registered Nurse for 25 years in the hospital and community sector, I have been blessed to support and educate many people on their healing journey and those living with disease.
In seeking support for my own health in 2014, I was introduced to mindfulness and I began energy healing through an intuitive Reiki Practitioner. The experience changed my life.
My body felt lighter.
Chronic pain and discomfort eased.
I began to release feelings that had weighed on me for many years. I was able to follow my intuition more clearly.
I was more peaceful, & felt more confident. I became a better mother, wife, daughter, friend and colleague.
As I began to heal, I felt inspired to share this experience of peace, awareness and healing. I knew I wanted to bring awareness and this form of healing to others.
I became a Mindfulness Facilitator in 2020 and Reiki Master Practitioner while supporting my Mum during her cancer recovery in 2021. In 2023, I completed a diploma in Child Mindfulness, extending my learning and passion for helping children and youth.
I deeply understand the heaviness and exhaustion that comes with caregiving, chronic disease, anxiety and people-pleasing. I have worked through these things personally and have found the freedom that comes with healing them.
My purpose is to help you navigate the path from heaviness to empowerment and self-awareness.
It is on that path where you truly connect to your inner light and SHINE.

"I had never heard of Reiki and was not sure what to expect, but Nickola explained everything step by step, making me feel relaxed.
Before Reiki I was tense, sore and unsure. After my first Reiki
session I couldn't believe what I saw and felt. My eyes were closed but the light came through as a bright white light and then turned to a light blue glow. I was relaxed enough that I could of had a nap.

Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
"Rei" means universal, "Ki" means life energy. This is the non physical energy that animates all living things. Science calls this biofield energy.
We are alive because of universal life energy (Ki) flowing within us. Ki flows through centers in our bodies called chakras, and pathways that pass directly through organs and tissues in the body. When the flow of Ki is disrupted it causes decreased functioning within one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body often presenting as illness and the experience of bodily sensations.
Reiki healing is channeled by the Practitioner and works by flowing through the affected parts of the person's energy field, (pathways and chakras), charging them with positive energy. Reiki can do no harm. Reiki healing can be hands on or at a distance.
As we are all made of energy, Reiki works at a distance using the ancient principle called the Hermetic Law of Similarity with the Practitioner linking to the person's energy field. A sacred healing connection is created using intention, visualization and distance Reiki symbols.
During a Reiki treatment, you can be seated or lying down in a comfortable position. Responses are individualized and can include increased intuition, better pain management, healing of past trauma, reduced anxiety, improved sleep, relief of stress and tension, and overall feelings of contentment.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness for Adults is a 4-6 week program to develop techniques for a mindful practice. Mindfulness is awareness through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment. It helps in reducing stress, aids in better pain management and an overall feeling of calm.
Pay as you go or sign up for 4 sessions.
Mindfulness for Children (Ages 6-10) teaches children fun and creative techniques to pay attention on purpose. This aids in social emotional learning, empathy, kindness, stress management and increased focus and attention.

Chakradance is a movement therapy modality that helps heal past traumas and release buried emotions using intuitive movement, creative expression and Chakra resonant music, Sessions are highly transformative and fun!
